Help our children
Cagayan Center for Child Development Foundation, Inc. was developed to provide a better life now and a constructive future for disadvantage children and to help families to overcome poverty and hopelessness through educational training, welfare services, vocational training, advocacy for child rights, community based health care and other community development programmes.

Caring Foundation

The Foundation’s main thrust is to make quality child care available and affordable for all families in need of care and services especially in the province of Cagayan. Resource levels in terms of earmarked funding for child development in Cagayan continue to lag behind the growing demand for early care and education in most barangays in Cagayan for the past decade or so. The Foundation saw the potential for public-private partnerships as an important vehicle for drawing together the resources and expertise needed to expand the supply and improve the quality of care and life for the poor and marginalized children of Cagayan, in the light of devolution.

Priority population will be focused on children 5 years up to 16 years of age who are:
1. orphans
2. Street children
3. Out-of-School youth (OSY)
4. Children in prison and with criminal records
5. Children with drug problems
6. Battered children (Child Abuse)

Most barangays in the various local government units in the provinces and municipalities have no established public-private partnerships to improve the quality, supply and access to care and services for working families. To promote and sustain innovative practices and partnerships, this Foundation was indeed established. It will provide information, services, technical and financial assistance to local government units in their work with businesses,philanthropic organizations and other socio-civic groups like the Rotary to build and sustain services and partnerships.

The Center for Child Foundation activities will include:

  • Identifying and documenting existing practices for promoting public-private partnerships at both the provincial, municipal and barangay levels (local government units);
  • Developing a series of written technical assistance materials to guide the formation and implementation of successful public-private partnerships;
  • Conducting a conference on public-private partnerships that brings together local government unit (LGU) executives and other potential partners; and
  • Providing periodic updates to child care grantees about information collected and produced under this contract.

Our Purpose
1. To improve the quality of every child in Cagayan and its immediate environments;

2. To advocate for the protection of the rights of children in Cagayan and its immediate environs;

3. To promote the social, cultural and economics wellbeing of children for the realization of their full potentials.
